Martini:

Traditional - very dry, use less vermouth
Straight up - no ice
On the rocks - on ice from shaker

2 oz gin or vodka
¼ oz or one capful of dry vermouth

Place ice in a martini shaker
Pour liquor over top, shake or stir
Garnish with olive, lemon twist ( lemon peel cut into strips )

Gibson - garnished with pickled olive
Crantini - use cranberry vodka,no dry vermouth- Cosmopolitian is Better!

 

Manhattan:

2 oz rye
1 oz sweet vermouth

Shake over ice and serve with cherry

 

Comsopolitan:

2 oz vodka
1 oz cranberry
splash of grandmarnier or triple sec
splash of lime juice or some fresh squeezed lime

 

Tropical cocktail:

1 oz coconut rum
1 oz vodka
½ oz melon liqueur if available
2 oz orange juice
2 oz pineapple juice

garnish with orange, strawberry etc.

 

Bloody Caesar:

1 oz vodka
4 oz clamato
shake each of Tabasco and Worcestershire
lemon or lime wedge
celery stick or cucumber slice

Bloody Mary - substitute tomato juice for clamato
